Description
Telefunke is a real-time full-stack app for the Telefunke card game (a Rummy variant). It supports 2 to 6 player matches over WebSockets, AI bot opponents, a lobby with presence and invites, P2P video chat, and an admin panel, on a Next.js 16 monorepo architecture.
Challenge
Synchronize real-time multiplayer matches with low latency, presence, invites, and video chat.
Solution
WebSockets for real-time game state, WebRTC for P2P video chat, and AI bots to fill tables.
Results
Smooth 2-6 player matches, built-in video chat, and bots that keep tables active.
